Business Development Coordinator 

Our client, a well-recognised fast-growing International organization, is looking for a Business Development Coordinator 
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales and business growth, in addition to expanding the clientele. One of the main goals of this position is to drive sustainable growth for the organization.  

Main responsibilities:
  • Developing a business development strategy focused on month over month company progression 
  • Arranging business development meetings with prospective clients
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
  • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
  • Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
  • Develop and train existing employees in to their roles, with a sales focus
  • Supervision of day to day tasks 
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
  • Coordinating the educational pathway program
  • Liaises with the company director on a daily basis 
  • Sponsorship coordination, along with identifying new opportunities for sponsorship with other organizations to assist in the growth of the company in Mauritius and surrounding countries 
  • Special events coordination, plan and execute special events as required  
  • Directs attention to driving business in surrounding countries, to promote awareness of the Company and to build relationships with new contacts   
  • Bachelors of master’s education in International Business, Business Administration and excellent knowledge in Sales
  • Proven working experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Executive or a relevant role
  • Experience working in a Management capacity 
  • Management 3-5 years’ experience
  • Sales 3-5 years’ experience 
  • Customer Service 3-5 years’ experience 
Candidate profile:
  • Passion for sales and connecting people with products and services 
  • Understanding of the Canadian Immigration System would be considered an asset 
  • Proven sales track record with consistent time over time meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent customer service abilities 
  • Fluency in English, French, and Hindi 
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to close deals based on the products and services being sold
  • Strong ability to learn and retain knowledge of new information
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and create a trusting environment 
  • Time management and planning skills
