Our client, in the Automotive sector, is looking for a Quality Assurance Officer

Reporting to the COO, the successful candidate will be responsible to conduct quality check and ensure compliance to the standards of the company and departments of the automobile division.
To find root cause for customer dissatisfaction and implement action plans.

Main responsibilities:
  • Review monthly CS scores to identify weak focus areas
  • Analyse complaints to find out weak focus area and identify process failure as per standards
  • Master the dealer/ ISO 9001: 2015 standards
  • Identify ISO 9001:2015 process failure
  • Customers are satisfied with the level of service offered by front line staff
  • Smooth running of operations in all departments
  • Physical environment is in compliance with our commitment
  • Identify any factors which affect service level
  • Base DPR/Internal audit on weak focus items, complaints and factors that were identified following surveys, complaints and observation
  • Identify process failure and evaluate processes using the dealer’s checklist so as to ensure compliance
  • Determine root cause for process failure leading to customer dissatisfaction
  • Provide feedback to management and frontlines on any discrepancy with ISO 9001:2015 standards or factors affecting CS
  • In consultation with Managers, review actual processes and make sure the departments follow the standards
  • Devise action plan based on weaknesses identified during observations / Recommend solution to improve processes and to reduce complaints and increase CS scores
  • Present to the team and obtain commitment for implementation of action plan
  • Follow up of the action plan with the Managers and responsible persons of different department to ensure completion of action
  • Promote quality assurance management in all departments
  • Maintain good relationship with departments where CS is implemented
  • Provide constructive feedback to front liner staffs and manager using the customer handling standards and ISO 9001:2015 as guideline so as to reach higher customer satisfaction (presentation)
  • Good and continuous communication (feedback on tasks, discuss on difficulties encountered, share idea to promote CS) with Superior
  • Prepare/ assist in preparing a Management report monthly/quarterly (as indicated by superior) that provides the customer satisfaction level and areas of strengths and weaknesses to the departments where CS is implemented
  • Ensuring adherence to work safety and quality standards
  • Ensuring adherence to health and safety standards set by law and company
  • Any other cognate duties allocated by Management.
Qualification:
  • Degree in Production and Operations Management
  • Experience in Quality Assurance
  • One (1) work-related experience
Candidate profile:
  • Well versed with Microsoft Office packages and Visio
  • Must be aware of ISO 9001 requirements
