Our client is looking for a Reporting & Controlling Coordinator

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Main responsibilities:
  • Undertakes a monthly variance analysis and identifies adverse and positive variances of the budget and forecast;
  • Submitting analyses to Management for discussion and approval;
  • Assist the Head of Finance in undertaking internal audits, tests and controls within the Indian Ocean sites;
  • Reporting any instances of non-adherence and maintaining up-to-date documentation to specified policies and procedures;
  • Prepare financial reporting in compliance with IFRS, GAAP and the Group policies;
  • Prepare monthly Reporting Pack according to group financial reporting calendar;
  • Coordinating and Assisting Quarterly Stock Count at Cement & Concrete sites;
  • Reconciliation of Physical Inventory to Theoretical Values on Accounting System;
  • Maintenance of detailed Revenue, SGA (Sales, General & Administrative Expenses) and Fixed
Costs Schedules;
  • Valuation of Cement cost per ton;
  • Valuation of Stock Consumption;
  • Reconciliation of Intercompany Balances;
  • Design own analytical tools for high granularity explanations on Variance and Movements;
  • Initiating budgetary/forecast process;
  • Prepare cash-flow forecasts;
  • Continuous review of accounting system and analytical tools;
  • Reporting of Financial Statements for Cement Activities on a monthly basis in conformity with Group deadlines on Group tool (currently SAP FC);
  • Preparing financial information for inclusion into Board papers as and when requested by your superior;
Qualification:
  • ACCA Level 3- and 5-years’ experience in a similar position would be an advantage;
  • Accounting, Financial Analysis & Taxation;
Candidate profile:
  • International Accounting Standards;
  • Critical & Analytical skills;
  • Flexible & willing to work odd hours;
  • Very comfortable with Microsoft Office Tools, particularly in Microsoft Office Excel;
  • Strong analytical skills;
  • Good Time Management and ability to respect deadlines at all times;
  • Team oriented;
  • Proactive;
  • Good communication skills with excellent knowledge of French and English, written and spoken.
