Business Development Manager

Our client, a well-known group, is looking for a Business Development Manager

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Main responsibilities
  • To lead the business development initiatives within the company towards increasing current market while generating new business ventures under the guidance of the General Manager
  • Following and analysing market trends to identify new ventures for expanding the company’s offer of services
  • Developing and proposing feasibility studies to General Manager (including business plans, cash flow forecasts and calculated risk and return analyses)
  • Leading the operations of newly developed business lines towards ensuring progress along the business life cycle, over period defined with General Manager
  • Contacting new potential clients and setting up new introductory meetings with GM
  • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
  • Lead and execute approved business initiatives as per defined standards and timeframes
  • Ensuring systematic reporting on project status and KPIs to General Manager and CEO if applicable
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in a similar job with a proven successful track record with a performing company
  • Holder of an MBA or MSC in Business Management or equivalent qualifications
  • Any equivalent combination of education and experience
Candidate’s profile:
  • Demonstrated ability in Finance
  • Strong entrepreneurial and project management skills
  • The ability to organise, prioritise, meet deadlines and maintain a high degree of accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in English and French (written and oral)
  • Dynamic, focused and reliable person
  • Have a compelling sales personality
  • Highly motivated in chasing and closing new businesses
  • Ability to operate with the highest levels of discretion and confidentiality
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
