Our client, in the shipping sector, is looking for a Senior Customer Service Documentation Coordinator

The successful candidate will be responsible to ensure complete customer satisfaction by producing accurate and timely documentation.

Main responsibilities:

To supervise and oversee the following tasks directly ensuring tasks are completed within guidelines:
  • Attend to customer request over phone and email, politely and timely
  • Handling changes and/or corrections to bills of lading and/or corrections to the bills of lading
  • Handling urgent SWB request from customers
  • Dealing directly with customers regarding bills of lading discrepancies
  • Monitoring workflow to assure that documents are completed and released within the specified timeframes to ensure smooth delivery of cargo
  • Verifying that customer is in good credit standing and sending bills of lading through Accounting
  • Ensure Invoice closure within the allotted period
  • Issuing Vessel Certificates to the customers
  • Making sure that Export Customs references are submitted in a timely manner for cargo sailing out of the country
  • Notifying customers of missing Export Customs references and communicating charges
Qualification and Experience:

Essential
  • 5+ years industry experience in transportation industry
  • Expert knowledge of documentation is required
  • Commitment to deliver excellence in documentation
  • Expert knowledge of user application systems (SAP, FIS& MS Office)
Desirable
  • Extensive background in handling customer documentation
  • Management experience
  • Process knowledge and systems support optimization
  • Management of data quality bench-marking¬†and KPI management
