Our client is looking for a Procurement and Stock Manager.

The successful candidate will report to the CEO & Head of Procurement and be responsible for the procurement and management of resale stock items. He/she will oversee for the procurement of optical equipment and consumables for the group of companies.

Main responsibilities:

Resale stock
  • Responsible for the procurement and the stock management.
  • Determine an annual budget and do monthly follow-up of achievements.
  • Define and justify approval for the stock plan based on the production forecasts.
  • Prepare purchase orders.
  • Analyse the procurement costs – import, freight.
  • Contain expenses within the annual forecast.
  • Source alternative forwarding agents and service providers.
  • Negotiate with suppliers, brokers, freight forwards to optimise procurement costs.

Maintain an orderly store.
  • Perform inventories and stocktakes
  • Do stock adjustment on the system – physical stock v/s system stock
  • Plan stock depletion
  • Do stock rotation
  • Process the monthly Stock ageing
  • Perform inventories and stocktakes
  • Do stock adjustment on the system – physical stock v/s system stock
  • Do follow-up of available products in the shops

Work in close collaboration with the Marketing Department for an optimal management and depletion of stock.
Supervise the After Sales Service.
Act as alternate of the Procurement & Logistics Executive in case of absences.

Equipment and consumables
  • Determine an annual budget and do monthly follow-up of achievements.
  • Do a monthly follow-up of stationery and consumables for the group of companies.
Eg. Stationery, kitchen consumables, hygiene consumables.
  • Ensure that all stationery is compliant with corporate branding.
  • Prepare purchase orders.
  • Source suppliers and negotiate for the best offer

Maintain an orderly store.
Assist the Administration Department for the purchase and repairs of Fixed assets; e.g. Air conditioner.
Prepare Purchase Orders.
Assist the Marketing Department for the procurement of signage, advertising articles etc…
Do regular reporting on the performance indicators.
Any additional task as requested by Management


Qualification & Experience
  • Degree in stock management
  • 5 years’ experience in a responsible position in a store – preferably FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods)

• Good market knowledge and market analysis skills
• Excellent mastery of Azurmind or equivalent stock system
• Computer skills: word, excel (data analysis), PowerPoint
